Cornish pastie recipe, English recipe, traditional recipes

Ingredients:
1½ teaspoon Salt
4 c Flour
¾ c Butter
1 c Water
1 lb Ground beef
3 Thinly sliced potatoes
1 Thinly sliced onion
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tb Water.

Method:

1. Heat oven to 350.

2. Mix ½ tsp. salt with flour. Add butter & blend.

3. Add 1 cup water & knead into stiff dough. Roll out to 1/8 . Cut 6 circles.

4. Mix beef, potatoes, onions, 1 teaspoon. salt, pepper & 1 tablespoon. water.

5. Divide mixture onto circles. Fold each circle in half. Seal edges with fork.

6. Bake 1 ¼ hours.
