About Barbara's
Gems
Barbara's Gems was
established to offer customers a full personal service; From customized
and jewellery made to your requirements to jewellery repairs, alterations
and demonstrations.
All styles of jewellery
made for any occasion; whether you are looking for that special piece to
wear when you walk down the aisle or for a unique birthday gift; Earrings,
Bracelets, Necklaces, Pendants, Tiara's, Fascinator's.
Each piece is individually created for you only.
Prices vary depending on
stones / beads used; Necklaces start from £7.50 - £20.00, Earrings
£3.50 - £7.50, Pendants start from £5.00 - £8.00, Bracelets from
£7.50 - £10.00, Fascinators and tiaras range from £10.00 - £40.00.

Repairs /
Alterations / Re-Designing
I can alter earrings and
necklaces to suit your own taste. Whether it needs lengthened or
shortened, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Everything from costume
jewellery to family heirlooms.
For those who have
difficulty fastening your necklaces, I have magnetic catches. So if you
have a favourite necklace you cannot wear, I will fit a magnetic catch
for you.
Repairs to your costume
jewellery start from £1.50 depending on the extent of the repair.
Restringing a necklace
costs from £5.00 per 18" strand and knotted necklaces 20p per bead.
If you have a favourite
bead necklace or just the remaining beads from a broken one, I can
redesign it for you at 25% off the price of a new one, plus make a
matching pair of earrings and bracelet if desired, again at 25% off list
price.
Clip earrings
If like myself, you
don't have pierced ears - I specialize in stud clip and drop earrings
- So now there is no excuse for not wearing fashionable earrings - along
with matching necklace etc.
